Hello, I am Gokce
Throughout my life, I have lived in many different countries such as Canada, Turkey, Italy and the Netherlands, and travelled as much. In each place, I understood that cities can be shaped and evolved into better liveable areas through the power of architecture, thus the architect. Therefore, as an architect, my aspiration constantly runs towards creating a better society and cities via analysing the social and economical cultures, and offering an architectural design with the power of new technologies, materials, and sustainability. Currently, I try to achieve my goals through my own practice; GG Architecture. From my previous carrier experiences in international architectural office namely RMJM-Istanbul, my masters studies and my current practice, I have seen that architecture is a collaborative and interdisciplinary practice, where teams of engineers, contractors and consultants are involved. Thanks to my working and masters experiences, I had learned how to be a part of a team, and now with my own office, I am able to take full resposibility of a project from the beggining to the construction site. Yet I believe that, especially with the current environmental issues involved, there are always more to learn and to seek in architecture. Therefore I am always eager to work for innovative and enviromentally concious projects, involving constant re-search to direct my potential and creativity through my hard work.
